This role serves as the senior leader responsible for overall strategy, execution, and growth, with accountability to the Board of Directors and close partnership with executive leadership and investors. The Chief Executive Officer will define and execute a clear, measurable growth strategy, with a strong focus on commercial expansion, market adoption, and long-term value creation. The position requires translating strategic vision into actionable plans, establishing performance metrics, and ensuring disciplined execution across all areas of the business, including commercial operations, R&D, and organizational development.
The Chief Executive Officer will lead all aspects of commercial strategy, particularly scaling product adoption within complex healthcare systems and driving sustainable revenue growth. Responsibilities include building go-to-market capabilities, strengthening reimbursement strategies, expanding market access, and establishing the infrastructure needed to support growth. The role also oversees enterprise-wide operations, including financial performance, governance, and readiness for key milestones such as capital raises, strategic transactions, or potential liquidity events. The CEO will serve as the primary external representative, building strong relationships with investors, strategic partners, and stakeholders across healthcare, academia, and industry.
Candidates should bring significant executive leadership experience within commercial-stage healthcare, diagnostics, or life sciences organizations, with a demonstrated track record of scaling products and services in complex markets. Strong experience working with Boards of Directors and investors is essential, along with the ability to lead fundraising efforts and build credibility with financial and strategic stakeholders. The ideal candidate has deep understanding of U.S. and/or global healthcare systems, reimbursement dynamics, and market access, as well as experience translating innovation into commercially viable offerings. A history of driving measurable growth, managing P&L responsibility, and leading cross-functional teams in matrixed environments is required.
This role requires a strategic, hands-on leader with strong business and scientific acumen. Candidates should demonstrate the ability to build and lead high-performing teams, influence diverse stakeholders, and operate effectively in fast-paced, evolving environments. Experience in high-growth or entrepreneurial settings is highly valued, along with strong communication, decision-making, and leadership skills. A bachelor’s degree is required; an advanced business or scientific degree is strongly preferred.
The anticipated base salary range for this position is $400,000 to $450,000 annually, based on a good faith estimate at the time of posting. This role may be performed remotely, with travel as needed. In addition, the role is eligible for performance-based bonus and a comprehensive benefits package, including medical, dental, vision, 401(k), and paid time off. Final compensation will depend on experience, qualifications, and the scope of the role.
