We are seeking a Vice President of Applied AI & Decision Systems to lead the development and deployment of scalable, intelligent decision systems across complex clinical and operational workflows. This role sits at the intersection of data science, product, and operations, with a focus on turning fragmented data, models, and processes into systems that drive consistent, high-quality decisions. This is a high-impact, greenfield opportunity to build a critical function and embed machine learning directly into real-world environments where decisions are made every day.
In this role, you will design and implement end-to-end decision systems that integrate seamlessly into clinical, financial, and operational workflows. You will translate complex and often ambiguous business challenges into structured, scalable solutions, while identifying inefficiencies and opportunities for improvement across systems. A key part of this role is leading the transition from standalone analytics to production-grade, workflow-integrated tools, partnering closely with cross-functional teams to ensure successful adoption. You will also be responsible for delivering measurable outcomes, including improvements in efficiency, accuracy, and financial performance, while influencing senior stakeholders and driving alignment on decision-making frameworks.
The ideal candidate brings 10+ years of experience in data science, applied AI/ML, or analytics leadership roles, with a strong track record of operationalizing machine learning in real-world settings. You should have deep technical expertise in machine learning, data modeling, and system architecture, along with experience integrating models into production environments. A background in healthcare or other complex, data-rich industries is highly preferred, particularly with exposure to clinical or claims data and decision support workflows. Just as important, you are a strong leader who can operate both strategically and hands-on, communicate effectively across technical and non-technical audiences, and build high-performing teams in evolving environments.
This position offers an anticipated base salary range of $250,000 – $325,000 annually, based on a good faith estimate at the time of posting. In addition, the role is eligible for performance-based bonus and a comprehensive benefits package, including medical, dental, vision, 401(k), and paid time off. Final compensation will depend on experience, qualifications, and the scope of the role.
