Responsibilities include leading and monitoring Data Protection Impact Assessments (DPIAs), maintaining and overseeing the Data Processing Register, and serving as the primary contact for data protection matters and data subject inquiries. The Compliance Director will work closely with QA, Clinical, Commercial, and Operations teams to integrate compliance requirements into the business and support business initiatives while maintaining compliance standards. Candidates must have proven experience building and managing compliance programs, a strong background in compliance audits, risk management, and internal controls, and deep knowledge of GDPR, HIPAA, and healthcare compliance regulations. The role requires excellent written and verbal English communication skills, strong leadership and the ability to influence without authority, high integrity and ethical judgment, excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, and the ability to translate complex regulations into practical business processes. Candidates must also bring strong communication and training capabilities, a proactive and risk-based mindset, attention to detail, and the ability to operate effectively in a fast-paced, growth-oriented environment.
