Pediatric Anatomic Pathologist

This role focuses on providing diagnostic pathology services within a high-volume clinical and academic environment, with a primary emphasis on pediatric cases. The Pediatric Anatomic Pathologist will perform comprehensive specimen analysis, including gross examination and microscopic evaluation, to identify and characterize disease across a range of tissue and fluid specimens. The position is responsible for generating clear, timely reports to support clinical decision-making and working closely with physicians and care teams. Daily responsibilities also include reviewing patient information in electronic systems, contributing to quality assurance efforts, and staying current on advancements in pathology and clinical practice.


In addition to clinical responsibilities, this role supports teaching and academic activities, including working with medical students, residents, and fellows. There are also opportunities to participate in research and publish findings as part of a collaborative academic environment. Candidates should hold an MD or DO, be board-certified or board-eligible in Anatomic Pathology or AP/CP, and have completed subspecialty training in pediatric pathology or a related field. Experience with laboratory standards such as CLIA, CAP, and Joint Commission requirements is expected, along with strong communication skills and the ability to work effectively in a team-based setting.
